返程－沿原路返回，或經由壯麗的貝拉赫安伊斯山口（替代路線）返回洛蒙德湖。在塔貝特觀景點欣賞洛蒙德湖對岸本洛蒙德山的全景。

Pickup at Greenock Ocean Terminal (we'll be on the quayside with a name board, parked just outside the terminal building).

Luss on the west shore of Loch Lomond – the postcard Highland village, conservation cottages, the parish church, the pier looking across the loch. 30–40 minutes for a wander and coffee.

North along Loch Lomond to Tarbet, west on the A83 along Loch Long.

Rest and Be Thankful – the great viewpoint at the head of Glen Croe, named for the inscription on the original 1750 military road. Short photo stop.

Down through Glen Aray to Inveraray on Loch Fyne. Brief stop in the planned 18th-century white-harled village.

Inveraray Castle – seat of Clan Campbell, the Dukes of Argyll, used as Duneagle in Downton Abbey. Proper interior tour and the Hill Walk through the castle gardens. Allow 1h 30m.

Lunch in Inveraray – the George Hotel on the front street is the right call (oak-beamed coaching inn, log fire, good Loch Fyne menu).

Optional – Loch Fyne Oysters at Cairndow on the way back (15-minute stop for fresh oysters, smoked salmon, the famous deli) or Inveraray Jail (Victorian prison museum) if either appeals.

Return drive – same scenic route or via the dramatic Bealach an Eas (alternative) back to Loch Lomond. Tarbet viewpoint for the panoramic shot of Ben Lomond across the loch.

Drop at Greenock Ocean Terminal – one hour before sail-away, with margin built in.
